So, I cracked open this cold beer with nearly no expectations. Like all bespectacled beer snobs, I have a distrust of the macro brewers. However, I have always taken them in stride. They can do extremely well. This time, unfortunately I was disappointed. As you can see from the picture, the beer was poorly forced carbonated. The beer has almost no residual flavor. The beer is roasty, almost to the point that I believe that this was the classic Guinness Stout with lager yeast. I know this seems like a cop out, but there is nothing to say about this beer. It is thin, poorly flavored, and honestly bad quality.
