I know, in general, I am not a great beer reviewer. I love just about everything, unless you are Shiner brewing. However, this review will be exceptionally loving. I have been addicted to this beer since I first had it nearly five years ago. It is so perfect, so incredible, to the point it was the first imperial I tried to brew. The smooth subtle perfection of the beer was too much to hold in, to the point that Brooklyn’s legendary brewmaster, Garrett Oliver, has published the recipe and answered questions on homebrewing forums. This beer is dessert, not just a beer to drink with dessert.
