In a new move of indie music, traditional blues is returning. The earthy and raw sound of the Delta Blues comes through clear and strong in the Deadstring Brothers especially. In this song, the music is almost empty; for the most part, it is a driving metallic sounding guitar. The music grows, but all the instruments sound raw, down to the growling voice of the singer.
