Words may not do this beer justice, but I will try anyway. Incredible is a good start. I, as you may guess, am a whiskey guy. I am learning the differences and subtle flavors of each one; the dryness of Irish Whiskey, the smokey complexity of Scotch, the sweetness of Tennessee/Bourbon, or the darkness of Canadian whiskey. However, watering it down changes the flavor. I imagined to make a Whiskey Beer would taste like watery beer or a whiskey barrel aged beer, which has more of a smokey, vanilla flavor than a whiskey flavor. However, this beer is spot on to whiskey. It is nuts; there is no comparison. The beer is like whiskey soda, lightly carbonate and incredible; sweet and whiskey.
