I have reviewed so many Brooklyn beers at this point that the word Brooklyn looks like it spelled wrong. This is their double IPA, however it is not a west coast ipa; follow me on this one. In the world of Double IPAs there are two styles, West Coast and Traditional. In the West Coast Style you double the alcohol to match the outrageous hops; in traditional style you double the hops to match the alcohol. Brooklyn is more of the second style; the beer is malty and the hops rise to meet it in an incredible beer. One of the best DIPAs of the season.
