Beer Dude: Founding Fathers Light Lager

There are few things in this world that frustrate me more than the association of things with products; especially when there is false pretense of patriotism. This is the case with Founding Fathers especially their Light Lager. Why is this bad? Two fold. First, there is the very notion that there is something associated with the Founding Fathers in this beer. The style is German and a modern interpretation; nothing they would have or drink, especially since recipes by Washington, Franklin, Adams, and Jefferson are available. Second, there is the idea that you would market this beer as Patriotic is a shame. Especially, since people would buy it for that reason. What is this beer like then? Sad and boring. The beer is watery and weak. Why do it? Don’t there is no reason to by this beer.
